Our 2023 Emphasis on Prayer continues in May!  We desire to see our church familuy grow in the desire, ability and reliance on prayer this year.  Arguably nothing is more central to your relationship with Jesus than calling out to God in prayer.

Join us on Sundays as each sermon in the May series focuses on Giving God Glory and why He alone is deserving of our praise.  Worship with us at 10:30!

Prayer Prompts for May 28-31

Please take a moment and read this daily encouragement and prompt to pray as we prepare for our 24-hour fast.

May 28

As we begin to prepare our hearts for the churchwide fast starting on Tuesday evening, we want to focus on Thanksgiving and Praising the Lord for His faithfulness.

Read: Philippians 4:4-9

Pray:  Ask God to put “anything that is excellent or praiseworthy” on your mind today and praise Him for it.  “Rejoice in the Lord” that He is faithful and has provided our church with our next Worship Pastor and Children’s Minister.

May 29

Happy Monday!  As you read and pray this morning, don’t focus on your needs.  Instead praise God for meeting your needs.  Make a mental list of needs he has met and praise Him for meeting them.

Read:  Philippians 4:12,13,19

Pray:  Thank God for meeting you where you are.  Thank Him for providing for your ever need.  Thank Him for your strength to get you through all you have on your plate today.

May 30

Today is the day.  We will all start our fast this evening.  You have received a prayer guide to start individually or with your family tonight around the dinner table.

May 31Good Morning!  Take this time to read Psalm 145:17-21 and pray through the prompts provided.  Take the time to praise God for his faithfulness.
